I wanted to step away from singular objects and anything that had to do with organization. I decided to go around to my friends and photograph their junk drawers. The real appeal I had to do with this is that everyone has something they consider a junk drawer. However, what everyone considers to be junk to entirely different. Some of my friends had junk drawers that were overflowing with unnecessary objects. Others were inherently unorganized which made it seem as though all of their drawers were junk drawers. While a few had junk drawers with barely any objects in it, but they still considered it messy junk. This project really allowed me to photograph intimate objects people had totally forgotten about.
